Beyond being a photographer/artist I am a wife, mother of 3,  lover of dark chocolate and I love to travel!  My husband and I have been together for over 20 years and we have supported each other both as individual entrepreneurs and life partners; through the good, bad and ugly.  I could not ask for a more supportive family.

From a very young age I knew art would always be a part of my life. Illustrations for me started as a child and continue to this day. In 1993 I was captivated by my first “official” photography class and I fell in love.  For the next 5 years I continued to further my knowledge of the arts and in 1998 I graduated from Kansas State University (Go CATS!) with a bachelor in Fine Arts, concentration in Graphic Design and Illustration.  Soon after graduation I started my own Graphic Design business in which I ran for 10 years. Photography started out as a hobby for me and aided me in my graphic design business for years. Illustrations have been an outlet for me and continue to be.

Art has always been a part of my life. I have been snapping photos and painting as far back as I can remember.  Capturing moments, beauty, life, emotions, and expressing through painting. It truly brings me so much joy.
