The Collman Family

I would like you to all stop and think for a minute what life would be like for you if you were working and going to school AND you had 3 little ones under the age of 4. Amanda is Super Woman.

What a beautiful and windy day we had and we made the best of it! The kids were busy and the sun was shining bright 🙂 Photographing one 2 year old can have its challenges so photographing twin 2 year olds and their 3 year old big brother was even more challenging, but I’m up for a challenge. I’ve chosen to go with life, instead of perfect, because really life is NOT perfect and sometimes capturing a sweet unexpected hug or a day dreaming stare can mean so much more that everyone looking forward.

Amanda, I love your determination to make  life work. Your babies are precious and you are a wonderful mom. I’m certain there are days you want to pull all of your beautiful hair out but press on my friend! Your family is beautiful. Thank you again for letting me capture your sweet moments.

BASEBALL!!

For those of you that don’t know I am a HUGE softball and baseball fan.  Most kids have a passion about something, whether it’s Art, Band, Football, etc…. mine was softball and watching the Royals play with my grandfather growing up.  So you can image how elated I was to be asked to do a baseball photo session, 2 of my passions squeezed into one moment! Blessed! Don’t these guys look fierce?! Good luck Outlaws and Bandits!

Finding Beauty from Ashes

Kansas has experienced quite a few wild fires this spring which as caused a lot of damage to crops as well as some lost buildings, bridges, etc.

But in the eerie pink smoke filled skies I chose to see blooms, budding, new beginnings, regrowth… Finding beauty from ashes…. Praying for the many families effected by the fires.

Life after High School

This is such a special session for me….. This is my oldest child who has this past year transitioned into the world away from home and is off at college. Brendan has been “dealing” with mom’s love of photography for many many years and he happens to be one of the first test subject I had and continues to be such a great help in this world of learning photography for me. I am blessed, I am grateful. Love You!
