Making the Best Out of an Icy Situation

As we watched the rain come down and the ice form, the trees started to sag and branches began to snap. We woke up to cable lines down and later electricity was gone.

The hunt was on to find the beauty in this Kansas ice storm. My daughter and I explored the backyard and found these beautiful sculptures God had made with ice. We broke many but had good luck with a few. What a beautiful thing to see.

These are a few more “cool” photos from the weekend as well.

Enjoy!

Today is National Adoption Day

What an honor it was to be asked to capture an adoption hearing.  My heart about exploded witnessing these moments! Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day! Nora is perfect! ❤ Congratulations!

Colten: Senior 2016

Although Colten’s legs were sore from coming straight from football practice (the “squat down” pose was not his favorite, lol!), he was such a trooper! We were pressed for time with practice running late and the sun quickly setting, but we still got some great shots!  We will continue the remainder of his session this winter in the snow 🙂 Super excited for that session! These are a few we took in my record breaking fastest session ever 🙂 Enjoy!

Two Year Old Twins Session!

Two year olds almost always make for an unpredictable photo session and it’s easiest to just let them be themselves verses trying to pose them.  These little ladies had so much energy! Although they are twins they are quite different in personality.  I enjoyed this so much! Sweet babies! Capturing their smiles, silliness and their sweet kisses was priceless. Thank you for letting me do these! ❤
