Meet Cooper! Like most little boys around 4 years old, they are bouncing with energy! Oh if we could only bottle it and use it ourselves! Cooper loves his superheros! I was informed that Batman is the best, although I believe Spider-man and the Hulk are a close second 🙂 We had an absolute gorgeous day to capture Cooper’s personality for his 4 year old photos. It was a beautiful evening at the Eisenhower Rose Garden. Our biggest challenge was swatting the gnats away, we certainly had no problem getting personality out of Miss Jensen! What a Sweetie! This little dolly had lots of laughs and giggles! I love how she dove right into that cake face first! Jensen I hope you had the best birthday! Thank you for trusting me with your memories.
If ever I’ve had a family session that encompasses life with little ones this is it. This family is so very special to me as that sweet momma of 3 boys and 1 girl is one of my dearest friends. We’ve known each other for over 20 years and she is like a sister to me. I’m honored to take their family photos and if you haven’t already figured out, they are pretty awesome people. As I’m sure, most of us remember or have heard about the “2 year old faze”, they are busy and pretty much run the show, it’s such a busy time of life, but it’s gone before we know it.
A family of free spirits and lots of laughs… life is to short, have fun, laugh, love and enjoy the ride.

The evening started out pretty cloudy and honestly I wasn’t sure that we would see the sun, but as God loves to prove me wrong over and over, the sun peeked out right at sunset and made for some great golden hour sunset photos.
What I can tell you about the Rock kids is they like to laugh. A very playful family who ended up laughing so hard while holding their brother that, yes, they dropped him. But he was a trooper and no one got hurt other than their bellies from laughing 🙂

A fun sibling session before big brother went off to college. As much as these kiddos can get on each other’s nerves, they do truly love each other. We laughed a lot, were extremely goofy and had a beautiful sunset for some great silhouette shots, AND lots of hugs and kisses too!! Good luck in school this year to all of you! ❤
