Style Session – Kansas Flint Hills – Kansas Photographers

I will be partial to this post as this is my daughter. Adventurer at heart and laughter is a must, she is brilliant and she is beautiful.  We frequently travel to the Flint Hills as we have family within 5 miles of this spot. I’ve never taken photos up here other than nature photography, but this weekend, we made it happen. As we were down at the family farm visiting grandpa and grandma, I told Abby to throw in a dress and we’d just see what happens and if we can make time for it. I’m so glad we did. One of my biggest challenges as a photographer has been transitioning from nature photography to people photography and how do I blend them well. How do I make the land look beautiful and the person look beautiful. It’s a balance as one cannot overtake the other. She’s just beautiful and this place, well you can see. Blessings.

Senior Session 2017 – Wamego – Kansas Photographers

It was a normal hot Kansas summer day, but regardless of the heat we got some great shots in. Caleb is finishing his last year at Wamego High and he loves running XC and he also loves to laugh. Serious is not his forte, which I completely understand 🙂 Life is too short! Enjoy laughter <3. Caleb I hope you have a fantastic senior year and good luck!! Love that smile!

Birthday Celebration – Style Session – Kansas Photographers

Now what 5 year old little girl doesn’t love making wishes, twirling, playing in a stream AND putting mom’s wedding dress on for picture day?!! We had so much fun at Wildcat Park doing all of these things and conversing about life as a 5 year old. Hazel is a take charge kind of girl and I love the leadership that shined through her personality. Hazel, Happy 5th Birthday and I hope you had the best princess party ever!

The V Family Session in Wamego, KS

What a blessing to be part of capturing life with this family. Love runs deep here and I’m blessed to have witnessed it. Sometimes getting the kids together once they are grown and off to college or once married is difficult. But we made it happen.  Thank you Tom and Wendy for allowing me to capture your smiles.

Schwarting/Kuntz Family Session

After a wonderful day celebrating Andrew’s graduation we headed out to John and Ann Maries’ home to snap some family photos. They have a pretty large family and they are spread throughout the country so having them all together was very special. I have known these families for over 20 years and was blessed to capture these special moments for them. Thank you for trusting me with your family ❤
