18 Years Later.

18 years ago today I said “I do”. In celebration of the joy, love and strength that has been restored within me, and the love you’ve shown me through this amazing journey of marriage, I dedicate this to you, the Lord new exactly what kind of partner I needed. This 18 year old dress might not fit as well, it might be stained and torn a bit… nonetheless… it’s a celebration of a moment that changed my life forever for the better.
To my husband(Bill Barnes): You are an amazing blessing that I’ve been given, without you so much of my life would have never been restored… The Lord has blessed us. Thank you for being my support and partner in this life. I’ve enjoyed aging with you, growing in love, relationship and wisdom… you always make me feel loved and beautiful.

Nora Turns 2!

I love telling stories and it’s an honor to tell a small part of other’s journey. Meet Nora, the miracle baby who made her way into this world under difficult conditions, yet she is thriving, living, loving and laughing. So many things in Nora’s life have been miracles, in the obstacles she and her family have overcome, and yet here comes another one. Miss Nora is going to be a big sister, a feet once though not possible. Nora, I hope you had the best 2nd birthday and I bet having a sibling might just be one of the best presents ever.

Their is no 1/2 ass with this girl(except for maybe cleaning her room 😉 ). How she manages to fit all that she does into her days I will never know. Meet Thomas and Katelyn. These two, down to earth country loving people, are just about the sweetest couple I’ve ever met. Family is through and through with these two, they both have younger siblings they love too pieces and the closeness of the whole family was beyond evident. Just a few things that accented the day were, boots, shotgun shells, burlap, antlers and my favorite… laughter. It was a beautiful day for an intimate quaint wedding on a hillside in central Kansas. The love between these two was gleaming(see his first look below!) and a little side order of sass showed up too(Bride and groomsman shot!). Thomas and Katelyn, I wish you many many years of love, laughter and sassiness. You two truly are so very wonderful.
