If ever I’ve had a family session that encompasses life with little ones this is it. This family is so very special to me as that sweet momma of 3 boys and 1 girl is one of my dearest friends. We’ve known each other for over 20 years and she is like a sister to me.  I’m honored to take their family photos and if you haven’t already figured out, they are pretty awesome people. As I’m sure, most of us remember or have heard about the “2 year old faze”, they are busy and pretty much run the show, it’s such a busy time of life, but it’s gone before we know it.

A family of free spirits and lots of laughs… life is to short, have fun, laugh, love and enjoy the ride.

The evening started out pretty cloudy and honestly I wasn’t sure that we would see the sun, but as God loves to prove me wrong over and over, the sun peeked out right at sunset and made for some great golden hour sunset photos.

What I can tell you about the Rock kids is they like to laugh. A very playful family who ended up laughing so hard while holding their brother that, yes, they dropped him. But he was a trooper and no one got hurt other than their bellies from laughing 🙂

A fun sibling session before big brother went off to college. As much as these kiddos can get on each other’s nerves, they do truly love each other. A Father’s Day Celebration – Joy Photo Session – Kansas Photographers

What a humbling experience to witness the way these women honor the men in their lives. A celebration of fathers. A dinner, a special table setting equip with tie folded napkins, signs expressing love to the heroes they are and the love shown to these men who have worked so very hard for their families. Thank you so much for allowing me to witness the love for the men in your life. Being a daughter who had to say goodbye to soon to my own father this touched my heart so very much. Thank you! Birthday Celebration – Style Session – Kansas Photographers

Now what 5 year old little girl doesn’t love making wishes, twirling, playing in a stream AND putting mom’s wedding dress on for picture day?!! We had so much fun at Wildcat Park doing all of these things and conversing about life as a 5 year old. Hazel is a take charge kind of girl and I love the leadership that shined through her personality. Hazel, Happy 5th Birthday and I hope you had the best princess party ever!
