Mariah Senior 2018 – Kansas Photographer – Senior Photographer

I try not to get on a soapbox much on my photography page as I have a blog for that, yet what I do want to say is these images represent something so simple yet so hard to find anymore for our young adults. Life is stressful for these kids, growing up today in this crazy media world is much more complicated that we realize. To me these images represent inner freedom, forgetting the junk, the news, the hard stuff, the mean people, the rumors, the big decisions that come with that senior year and just being free in the moment.

I believe many of us should take time to have these free moments, unplugged, just pure joy and laughter… anyway… off soapbox 🙂 Enjoy Miss Mariah, as she is representing a freedom we all need more of.

Blessings.

Martin Wedding – Kansas Photographer

I always enjoy a sweet country-style wedding with boots and hay bales. Though I don’t know these two super well, I can tell you that Mr. is a very talented carpenter, as he MADE many the decorations at the reception… including the amazing “MR & MRS” sign and the chandelier to name a few.  Mrs. has quite a servant heart, taking care of many of her bridesmaids and others, doing hair and makeup for them prior to the wedding (she is a hairdresser), what a servant heart you have 🙂

It was an amazing day of celebration! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Martin! Wishing you many, many wonderful years ❤

Haug Family – Kansas Photographer – Family Photographer

Life with boys; busy boys, goofy boys, wiggle worm boys and silly face boys. Many times groups can become upset, frustrated or even just want to quit a session all together due to children misbehaving. I’ve challenged myself over the past 2 years to help families understand the value of photographing life as it is. Boys will be boys, but some day they will be men. Kids will be kids and someday they will be grown adults. Learn to laugh at your kids silliness and their goofy personalities. Embrace the craziness for someday it will be gone.

The Haug family was wonderful with their patience in allowing the kids to be kids. We had silly photos, goofy photos, funny face photos and smile photos. I am grateful for the opportunity to capture you and yours.

Your family if full of love and life, laughter and giggles. That’s what it’s all about friends.

Blessings!

Nora Turns 2!

I love telling stories and it’s an honor to tell a small part of other’s journey. Meet Nora, the miracle baby who made her way into this world under difficult conditions, yet she is thriving, living, loving and laughing. So many things in Nora’s life have been miracles, in the obstacles she and her family have overcome, and yet here comes another one. Miss Nora is going to be a big sister, a feet once though not possible. Nora, I hope you had the best 2nd birthday and I bet having a sibling might just be one of the best presents ever.

Blessings!

Reynolds Wedding – Kansas Photographer – Family Photographer

The amazing story of two who loved, and chose to take separate paths many years ago, but fate brought them back together 20 years later to reunite. I get goosebumps when I think of these two’s story. I was honored to capture this wedding and it was pretty special as I went to school with both of them as well. The love is undeniable. The photos tell the story, I’ve never witnessed two people so deeply in love, and time has nothing on them. Congratulations to you both and your families. So very happy for you and thank you for the opportunity.

Blessings.
