Sweet Hazel – Family Photographer – Kansas Photographer

I was excited to explore a brand new(to me) location with Miss Hazel just outside of Wamego. What a gorgeous day, although the wind was a bit challenging, we made it work! Hazel I hope you had the best birthday, I love your big personality and those beautiful eyes. Thank you so much for trusting me with capturing your smiles, giggles and just you being you.

Blessings.

Haug Family – Kansas Photographer – Family Photographer

Life with boys; busy boys, goofy boys, wiggle worm boys and silly face boys. Many times groups can become upset, frustrated or even just want to quit a session all together due to children misbehaving. I’ve challenged myself over the past 2 years to help families understand the value of photographing life as it is. Boys will be boys, but some day they will be men. Kids will be kids and someday they will be grown adults. Learn to laugh at your kids silliness and their goofy personalities. Embrace the craziness for someday it will be gone.

The Haug family was wonderful with their patience in allowing the kids to be kids. We had silly photos, goofy photos, funny face photos and smile photos. I am grateful for the opportunity to capture you and yours.

Your family if full of love and life, laughter and giggles. That’s what it’s all about friends.

Blessings!

C&K Engagement – Kansas Photographer – Wedding Photographer

What a beautiful day for an engagement session. As I met these two, the one resounding thought I had was how laid back and relaxed they were. Not stressed or worried, not uneasy or anxious, just in love and excited to spend time together. I absolutely adored this session and I can’t wait for the wedding! These two are but a few years older than my oldest son. It made me realize how quickly life goes and how blessed we are to have every moment we have, AND I could potentially be looking for a wedding photographer in the near future!!

Thank you for the opportunity and I’ll see you next month!

Blessings.

Logan Senior 2018 – Kansas Photographer – Senior Photographer

What a beautiful young lady! Miss Logan started off my 2018 Senior photos year this past May. She is a very talented young lady and I am honored she asked me to take her photos. Logan is also a photographer and has done some amazing work! It’s always such an honor to photograph other photographers. There is a trust and understanding that goes into making that decision as an artist and I am always humbled when asked to do them.  Best of luck this year and beyond. You will do great things!!

Blessings!

What is Content? – Mission Photographer – Kansas Photographer

This is some of the most life changing and meaningful work I’ve ever done. I usually do not cross post with my personal blog and my photo page, but I think it’s vital to understand the work and what experience I had on a personal level within my job. I am blessed, humbled and forever grateful for the opportunity to travel to Guatemala and share life with these children and this medical team.
