Friday Night Lights, Senior Night: Small Town USA

When I was asked to capture Senior Night at our home football game I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. My children haven’t played football in high school so it truly was foreign to me. What I discovered was this coach, the staff, this team, these kids, the fans, the student section, the band, the cheerleaders and dancers create such a fantastic atmosphere for these kids to play in and for spectators to watch.  Our boys came out on top winning big that night, Cowboys vs. Indians…. which made me giggle a little… It’s small town USA and these boys know how to play, not just physically, but with heart. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to capture these.

Jacob Senior 2016

I certainly enjoyed getting to know Jacob through this session starting at the fire station, over to the library and on out to Brown’s Park.  He’s a busy guy and excited for his future as a Fire Fighter.  One thing I learned about Jacob is he loves his hat, his mom said it just wasn’t him to not wear it, so we have a lot of hat pictures and a few without 🙂 Always be yourself and enjoy the rest of your senior year. Good luck!!

Dakota, Senior 2016

Meet Dakota, future soldier in the US Army.  What a neat kid. Laughter encompasses him and his family.  Our day started out at the Eisenhower Center and then on out to Brown’s Park.  Dakota had absolutely no fear when it came to getting the picture “he” really wanted, even if it required climbing down a hug wall of concrete blocks.  Thanks for letting me take these and good luck the rest of your senior year and beyond 🙂
