18 Years Later.

18 years ago today I said “I do”. In celebration of the joy, love and strength that has been restored within me, and the love you’ve shown me through this amazing journey of marriage, I dedicate this to you, the Lord new exactly what kind of partner I needed. This 18 year old dress might not fit as well, it might be stained and torn a bit… nonetheless… it’s a celebration of a moment that changed my life forever for the better.
To my husband(Bill Barnes): You are an amazing blessing that I’ve been given, without you so much of my life would have never been restored… The Lord has blessed us. Thank you for being my support and partner in this life. I’ve enjoyed aging with you, growing in love, relationship and wisdom… you always make me feel loved and beautiful.

L&M Wedding – Kansas Photographer – Sunny Side Pumpkin Patch

A beautiful Kansas summer afternoon with sunflowers, burlap, barns and boots. Morgan and Lody are probably the most laid back couple I’ve ever met. No stress, just go with the flow and what a beautiful day it was. Morgan and Lody had their closest friends and family join them in an outdoor celebration at Sunny Side Pumpkin Patch in Assaria, KS. With hay bails for seats and wooden hearts to sign for the guest book, the details were just perfect for this young hardworking Kansas couple who we can now call Mr. & Mrs. Black.  Congratulations to both of you. I wish you many many years of happiness. Thank you for letting me be a small part of your blessed day. Blessings.

Now what 5 year old little girl doesn’t love making wishes, twirling, playing in a stream AND putting mom’s wedding dress on for picture day?!! We had so much fun at Wildcat Park doing all of these things and conversing about life as a 5 year old. Hazel is a take charge kind of girl and I love the leadership that shined through her personality. Hazel, Happy 5th Birthday and I hope you had the best princess party ever!

A day full of love, laughter, cowboy/girl boots and hats, ATV’s, the giant spur at the rodeo, an epic sunset, a breathtaking ceremony at Proscape and amazing dancing at the reception. Cali and Jeffery are the real deal, I was blown away by their generosity to each other, and compassion and love for one another and for their families.  Calisa, You are Stunning!
