This painting was done after reading Luke 11:33-36
My word for 2022 is ‘Light’ and I’ve been searching out scripture on just that. In Luke 11 Jesus speaks of the importance of light. To me this picture represents the fire within igniting, burning bright and reflecting out into the darkness. We as believers are called to shine our light to others and our light isn’t little, it is a burning flame within meant to be reflected out to others.
