Stacked Up Snowflakes!

I realize I am WAY behind on posting, but this actually was such a strange random day to get snow. It was last month and it randomly snowed these HUGE flakes and then 30 minutes later they were gone. So pretty. Excited I was able to capture them and the sunshine just barely grazing them. I’ve never seen stacks like this before. Enjoy

Blessings!

Bret Baier Book Signing in Abilene

Our little town of 6000+ had quite a draw this past month when Bret Baier came to speak about his newly published book, Three Days in January: Dwight Eisenhower’s Final Mission.

There is certainly a stigma about famous people in our society and I was pleasantly surprised with how wonderful and kind Bret and his family were. They are people just like you and me, although they may spend a lot more time in front of a camera.  Abilene was truly blessed to have them all come and spend a little time at Eisenhower’s home town.  Bret spoke about his passion for Eisenhower, and Abilene has been blessed by his work and passion for sharing a part of Eisenhower’s history.

Thank you for allowing me capture this special event for our community.

My Family – Kansas Photographer – Family Photographer

In the grand scheme of life, the one thing we hold nearest and dearest to us is our family. No matter the age, the size, the color, the sex, the job, the birth order, the differences in opinions, the blood line… none of it matters…. There is no separation in family, there are no LABELS in family. I am beyond blessed with such great people to do life with and I was honored to take our own family photos. I love you all dearly.

Blessings ❤

Krause Newborn Session – Family Photographer – Kansas Photographer

Oh precious babies! What an absolute honor to capture this sweet peas newborn cuteness. Lots of hugs and kisses, tiny feet and precious little hands. Oh how they grow up so fast! Cherish these moments as they are gone in a flash! Thank you for trusting me with your family.

Boss Family – Kansas Photographer – Family Photographer

When I was contacted to photograph the Boss family I had no idea the surprise that was in store for me. I knew Kimmi’s sisters were from out of state and it was so very special to the family to have everyone together. Kimmi and I met about 4 years ago when I moved to the area. We were introduced through essential oils and I have gotten to know her through the oily connection. When I showed up on location to introduce myself, in walked Kimmi’s sister, a college acquaintance who I hadn’t seen in over 20 years! Ironically we took one of my first college photography classes together. How small is this world?! What a blessing to see her and all her family so many years later.

It was an absolutely beautiful day in late December. Two itty-bitty babies and children of all ages and so many girls! And don’t forget the kitty! Oh my goodness I should thank that cat for all the smiles he/she created! It really was a fun time. I am honored and blessed to capture your smiles. You have a beautiful family.

Thank you and blessings to you all.
